Los Angeles Aviation Club

Los Angeles Aviation Club

A Los Angeles aviation club provides Southern California pilots with a viable means to regularly access airplanes. While most pilots would love to own their own aircraft, the costs of acquiring and maintaining planes are incredibly expensive. With a flying club, all these costs are shared amongst the members, making them much more reasonable.

A Superior Los Angeles Aviation Club

Here at Eight Ball Flying Club, we offer our members complete access to our five airplanes—TWO 2000 Cessna 182s, 1978 Cessna 172, 2002 Cessna 172SP and 1982 Piper Saratoga. Each member of our Los Angeles aviation club holds ownership in the aircraft. To become a member, you must pay a $3,500 buy-in fee which grants you an equity share in the club.

Our monthly dues of $160 are amongst the most affordable in the area; you’ll be hard-pressed to find a Los Angeles aviation club with cheaper dues. These dues cover all maintenance costs as well as insurance fees, tie downs and taxes. We keep our aircraft in impeccable condition, ensuring they are always up to the latest safety standards. In an effort to keep members familiar with the planes, we require all club members to commit eight hours annually to aircraft maintenance work.

If you’re interested in joining our Los Angeles aviation club, you’re welcome to attend one of our monthly meetings. They are held on the second Tuesday of each month. Complete our Contact Us form and one of our members will provide you with meeting details.
